This is my first blog post on Aspiring Adult, hopefully of many.
Blogging is one of those things I’ve been meaning to do for an eternity, but “never had the time“.
Now, I’m making time.
Apparently, that’s part of being an adult — something that my mother likes to remind me that I am — carving out time for things you want to do, out of the hassle that is life and obligation. I haven’t fully determined what the purpose of this blog is yet, but it’s looking a lot like an exercise in perseverance.
This blog is called Aspiring Adult purely because, whilst I may have attained the age of majority, I still have a long way to go before I’m actually an adult.
But I’m getting there.
Adulthood is like a game-show, but if every curtain was a social obligation you didn’t feel like attending.
